All three blessings are recited before kindling the Chanukah menorah for the first time. On all subsequent nights the third blessing is omitted.

On the first night, the light to the extreme right is kindled. On each subsequent night, a new light is added to the left of the previous night's light. The new light is always kindled first, the one to its right second and so on.

Blessed are you, Hashem, our God, King of the universe,
Who has sanctified us with his commandments and
has commanded us to kindle the light of Chanukah.

Blessed are you, Hashem, our God, Who wrought miracles
for our forefathers, in those days at this season.

Blessed are you, Hashem, our God, King of the universe,
Who has kept us alive, and has sustained us,
and has brought us to this season.
