1. To the chief Musician for stringed instruments, A Maskil of David,
2. When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Does not David hide himself with us?
3. Save me, O God, by your name, and judge me by your strength.
4. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
5. For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul; they have not set God before them. Selah.
6. Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who uphold my soul.
7. He rewards evil to my enemies. O, cut them off in your truth!
8. I will sacrifice a free will offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord; for it is good.
9. For he has saved me from every trouble; and my eye has gazed upon my enemies.

א לַֽמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹת מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִֽד
 ב בְבוֹא הַזִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְשָׁאוּל הֲלֹֽא־דָוִד מִסְתַּתֵּר עִמָּֽנו
: ג אֱלֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ תְדִינֵֽנִי
: ד אֱלֹהִים שְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי הַֽאֲזִינָה לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי
 ה כִּי זָרִים | קָמוּ עָלַי וְֽעָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי לֹא שָׂמוּ אֱלֹהִים לְנֶגְדָּם סֶֽלָה
: ו הִנֵּה אֱלֹהִים עֹזֵר לִי אֲדֹנָי בְּֽסֹמְכֵי נַפְשִֽׁי
: ז יָשִׁוב [יָשִׁיב] הָרַע לְשֹׁרְרָי בַּֽאֲמִתְּךָ הַצְמִיתֵֽם
: ח בִּנְדָבָה אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּךְ אוֹדֶה שִּׁמְךָ יְהֹוָה כִּי־טֽוֹב
