Psalms Chapter 125

1. A Song of Maalot. Those who trust in the Lord shall be like Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides for ever!
2. As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people from this time forth and for evermore!
3. For the scepter of the wicked shall not rest upon the share allotted to the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to do wrong!
4. Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts!
5. As for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the evil doers; but peace shall be upon Israel!
